The ICMM Board, consisting of Kemajl Zeqiri, Avdi Konjuhi, Azem Rexhaj and Festim Kutllovci, had a meeting with the American mining company “North American Coal”.
The company “North American Coal” is staying in Kosovo for the international mining conference organized by ICMM.
Among other things, this company has had several meetings with the relevant mining institutions, and it visited as well the lignite mines operating within KEK.
On this occasion, the ICMM Board informed the company about the role and functioning of ICMM, and for the mining industry in general, with special emphasis on the industry of lignite production.
The company’s representatives presented as well their work and methodology of coal exploitation in the USA, respectively in the mines of the company. It was further discussed about the common characteristics of Kosovo coal and coal that this company has for exploitation, as well as the methodology of exploitation.
The company was assured that the ICMM will provide all support and information for the mining sector within its function and legal obligations, thus providing continuous support at any time.
