From 12-14.11.2024, the Chairman of the Board Dr. Habib Basholli participated in the workshop “Balkans Regional Workshop and Introductory Legal Review/Regulatory Best Practices for Mining Life-Cycle Governance, Training and Regulation Simulation” held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), supported by U.S. Department of State’s Energy and Minerals Governance Program has organized this workshop. Except the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals, Ministry of Economy and entity “Trepça” JSC, participants in this workshop were as well from Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Rumania. This workshop has offered latest legal and regulatory best practices in mine waste and management of these tailings, and offered a hands-on training exercise in regulatory drafting.
